Caulker

Full Job Description

• Commercial or Industrial caulking experience required.

• Must be experienced in all aspects of caulking new glass installation, including the use of tooling knives and tube guns/sausage guns

• Experience repairing and replacing sealants on commercial restoration projects.

• Knowledge of cutting out and properly preparing surfaces.

• Be familiar with backer rod and sizes, knowledge of the difference between bulk, sausage, and application of one and 2-part sealants.

• Able to perform demanding, active work at heights from ladders, lifts, scaffolding or other devices

• Willingness to continuously learn new skills and techniques

• Self-starter with excellent customer service skills and comfortable dealing with the public in the field.

• Knowledge of commercial glazing projects including replacement of storefront window glass, door hardware, and storefront doors is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial caulking experience

• High school diploma or equivalent education

• Must be able to pass drug and background check

• Must have a valid Driver License

• Must have reliable transportation
